Suggest Treatment For Small Painful Lump On Testicles

I have a small painful lump on the upper half of my left testicle that does not feel attached to anything. What could this be? It came up very fast and I just noticed it. I have a history of a vasectomy and had a few injuries as a child to my testicles.
