Suggest Treatment For Small Insect Bite Bruises On Body

Every morning I awake with a series of small bites on my torso. They fade during the day after being treated with rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, hydro cortisone, and also with a paste of saltwater. However the next morning I will have a new set of bites. My wife, who sleeps in the same queen size bed with me, does not have any bites. These bites resemble a flea bite; however our 15 year old cat died about 3 months ago. Since the cat s death, our small house has been thoroughly cleaned & vacuumed. Our cotton bed sheets are washed weekly. We live in Virginia. Help!!!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This definitely indicates presence of insects like bed bug in the vicinity. Some individuals are more sensitive than others. Check out the corners and clefts on the bed closely. There are insecticide sprays available to tackle this. If you are not able to do yourself, kindly seek the help of professional exterminators.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
