Pediatrician 's  Response
Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. For a preterm child gestational age correction is necessary up to 2 years of age. So if your child has been born 4 weeks preterm, her corrected age is actually 4 weeks lesser than her age from birth. Early developmental stimulation therapy is beneficial and might be essential for your child. Please visit a developmental pediatrician or a centre dealing with child development and get the child assessed. They will give you the developmental age of the child and mention the interventions required if any.

Hope that answers your query. Feel free to revert back with further queries if any.
