Suggest Treatment For Sleep Apnea

why are my feet and ankles darker than the rest of my legs. I was in the military and wore combats boots. I retired from the military in 1993. Since then I have done mostly work that require sitting at a desk. I am married with 2 adult children and I have one grand son. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. Snore like a bear ( I have a growth in my right nostril, but all my doctor wants me to do is use my cpap machine).

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I don't think your issues are related to the military time.
An impairment of the venous drainage of the legs should be evaluated with Doppler ultrasound of your legs.
Regarding the snoring, get an opinion from an ENT Doctor, if the growth is responsible it should be removed.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
