Two days ago my vision my vision became distorted and I saw a rentinal secialist that says my macular has a pucker in it, she did not key in on the sinus infection, but is it possible that the infection could cause my vision to become distorted and clearing the sinus have my vision go back to normal

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first-line management, you can start antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav for symptomatic relief. Do steam inhalation to open up blocked sinuses. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
