Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Constant Nasal Drip

Hi Can a sinus infection and constant nasal drip into the throat, cause a slightly sore pain on the left side of my throat? Its not an actual sore throat feeling? and my voice becomes hoarse at night with this constant drainage. it is also alittle tight to swallow which is really worrying me?

Yes , sinus infection and constant nasal drip into the throat can cause sore pain , hoarse voice & discomfort during swallowing .

When a patient with similar conditions meets me at my clinic, I prescribe
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal spray thrice daily,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination &
antibiotic Ofloxacin + ornidazole .
