Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Cephalexin
My Father had hernia surgery yesterday and is taking Cephalexin. It appears he is having an allergic reaction and I am trying to determine if we should go to emergency room or wait till in the morning. His symptoms are Flushed face Lips are swollen just inside the mouth Says he feels okay He has had 1 days dosage 3pills and 1 pill yesterday.

The symptoms are typical of severe allergic reaction.
He has to stop the drug and ask for alternatives. If the symptoms persist he can take antihistamines like Pheniramine.
