General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
It could be a
Hydrocele which is a fluid collection around the testicle and is fairly common and normal. It can be treated with a surgery.
It could also be an Inguinal Hernia which can also lead to a fluid collection around the testicle and can also lead to the pain that you mentioned. Because, Hydroceles are usually painless.
Either way, you should consult your GP or a Surgeon who can examine you and decide what it is. He also might ask for an Ultrasound which will readily diagnose the problem if the examination is unable to and then you can adhere to the treatment advised. Both ways, it is nothing serious and you do not need to worry about it.
Just get the consultation and you will be fine.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
