Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A few weeks ago I suddenly had tooth ache which the dentist said was from 2 cracked teeth. He filled them, but since then I have been having dull pains in my eustachian tubes & ears, sometimes in jaw. I have also developed 3 lumps on the back of my head which hurt. Could this be something related to the teeth, gums, or something more serious?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain in case if your teeth were having pain and they are simply filled and not root canal treatment is performed then pain in ears and jaw can be radiating pain from the teeth..
I would suggest you to first of all consult an Oral Physician and get an x ray of the teeth done.. In case if the nerves are exposed then Root Canal treatment should be done for relief..
In case if the teeth are fine then an examination of ears for ruling out ear infection and other pathologies that can cause this problem has to be done and treated accordingly..
As of now take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen for relieving pain..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
