Suggest Treatment For Severe Swelling And Redness On The Throat

I am having difficulty and pain when swallowing the r side of the back of my throat is red and I have a shooting pain into my right ear. I have also came out in a small rash about the size of a 5p on the right side of my face beside my lips which feels like piercing pins when touched this has all happened from this am

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe swelling and redness on throat along with ear pain seems to be due to sinus infection leading to sinsitis leading to respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to take throat lozanges. You should do warm saline gargles and take nasal sprays as well. You should take antiallergic medication along with antibiotic medication for 5-7days. Avoid intake of cold beverages and spicy, sharp and oily food. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test and blood tests as well and start treatment after proper diagnosis.
