Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain And Headache

My 9 year old daughter has been suffering from severe stomach pain and headaches for the past week. no fever. loss of appetite, infrequent bowel movements, and cramping. She was also experiencing episodic asthma for which she has been treated for once or twice in the past. However, the precursor to her illness has always been stomach pains which ultimately leads to other complications. Any ideas?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of severe stomach pain and headache. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to viral infection leading to increased susceptibility of body. Poor immunity of body is further responsible for this. Need not to worry. For now take antacid and do warm saline gargles . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , take benadryl twice a day , avoid eating acidic and spicy food and consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order X-ray of upper digestive tract , ambulatory acidity test and endoscopy of esophagus to rule out condition like acid reflux.
