You had tested for it around 4 week after exposure....
So if you are in window period than test can be negative ...
But usually after month test comes positive in fourth generation ELISA ..
So you can repeat test by ELISA or more confirmatory method Western blot method...
You have
lymphocytosis , so it could be viral infection...
For that your lymph nodes palpated and look for icterus and
hepatosplenomegaly to rule out
infectious mononucleosis.If suspected than serological testing for that can be done ...
Symptomatic treatment done meanwhile by salt water gargles and more fluids.
Avoid excess spicy foods and oily foods ...
Take
benadryl for congestion relief..
