Suggest Treatment For Severe Sinusitis And Canker Sore

I have symptoms of green thick mucus stuck between my nasal passages and my throat which I would attribute to a sinus infection of some sort. However, I have a canker sore under my tongue and a swollen sublingual glad on the left side. Would this be caused by the infection and would you recommend a doctor visit?

Hi,

Yes, all these are due to infection, mostly bacterial sinus infection. So you should definitely consult ENT doctor and get done an endoscopic examination of sinus, X-ray of paranasal sinuses to rule out sinusitis.

You will need antibiotic, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory drugs. Steam inhalation and warm water gargle 5-6 times a day will also beneficial to you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
