Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder Pain

My muscles on the top of both shoulders hurt. My arms are sore and my hands are stiff and sore. I have had these symptoms , on and off, after I golf. I stretch beforehand and try to swing easy but somehow I really aggravate those areas. The problem is, I went to a golf range 2 nights ago and now I feel the pain more than ever. It s hard to find a comfortable position to sleep. I don t want to give up golf. What s wrong with my shoulders and arms to respond so harshly?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from supraspinatus bursitis or tendinitis or rotator cuff injury.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use physical therapy, cold and warm compression. Use NSAIDs if you have pain.

Get it done shoulder joint x-ray, then consult your orthopedician/physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
