General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern
Rectal bleeding can be caused by number of reasons like
Hemorrhoids
Fissure in Ano
Rectal polyp
Hematological disorder like bleeding tendencies
Liver disease like cirrhosis or portal hypertension

If I were your treating doctor I would have advised you for a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC liver and kidney function test and a colonoscopy or proctoscopy.

In my opinion you should immediately consult a general surgeon or gastroenterologist for physical check up and further course of action.

Thanks for your question
Best wishes
