Suggest Treatment For Severe Pressure In The Chest
Recently, I had severe chest pressure twice. MI ruled out. Cardiologist suspected cardiac spasms. I was scheduled for a endoscopy and colonoscopy which I did this past week. Had a large ulcer just before the pylorus. The Dr. Also took biopsies (1 mid esophageal, 3 stomach and 2 colon). Is it possible that my chest pressure was related to the cardiac spincter?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pressure in the chest . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like panic Attack , angina , gastro esophageal reflux disease that can occur due to sphincter problem , aortic , aneurism , asthma , physical injury or symptoms of a heart attack .I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper checkup . Doctor may order endoscopy along with X-ray of upper digestive track to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe proton pump inhibitor , H 2 blockers along with antacid. For now take small and frequents meals , take light walk after every meal , take antacid after every meal , eat at least one hour before going to bed and keep your head elevated while lying down .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
