Suggest Treatment For Severe Pelvic Pain

I ve been having extreme pelvic pain. It s sometimes random but it mostly appears right after an orgasm. It feels like period cramps but worse and it pushes against my bowels and makes me feel like I have to go to the restroom. There is no possibility of a pregnancy and I am currently on birth control pills because of my extremely painful periods. I was wondering what could be wrong.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to muscular pain.

Because of your pelvic muscles contract during an orgasm, the pain could simply be from a muscle spasm.

I recommend doing a urinary test to exclude a urine tract infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
