Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Shoulder And Neck
i have had what i thot was a very badly strained shoulder w/pain through the deltoid and under my scapula. but... in the last week or so, my shoulder feels fine but now i have a strong pain in the side/back of my neck sort of near the back of the neck. started getting a LOT MORE pain in the back of my neck/shoulder....i tried sports cream and all that - as well as a variety of the anti-inflammatory OTC drugs. what to do?
Since how long have you had the pain? From the symptoms you have mentioned, it sounds like a muscle sprain or pull. You may try a muscle relaxant such as Chlorzoxaxone, which is available as a tablet. Alternatively a muscle relaxant cream such as Volini may also be used. Quite often, the pain may also be related to heartburn, in which case, Rantac maybe taken, before food. Overweight can also be a problem causing the pain, so fitness is extremely important, as a way of life. If all these measures do not help, please consult an orthopedician near to you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sreeja
