Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Right Hip

I am having pain on my right hip for 2 weeks now. When I am sitting and get up to walk, I can t just walk normally that I used to. It takes about several seconds before I can walk straight. I noticed that the pain extends up to my right tummy. Pain level on my hip is probably 5 out of 10 and my right abdomen is probably 2 or 3 out of 10. I am taking Krill oil (2x a day) and Red Yeast Rice at night for cholesterol, a 1000 mg of Vit C and 1 capsule of Mangoosteen supplement a day (I forgot the dose).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because the pain is related to movement very likely it is due to muscle sprain. In your case maybe it is the psoas muscle which connects the leg with the inner back tummy which is the reason you are having abdominal pains as well. Ibuprofen and paracetamol might help with the pain.

On the other hand you will need to see your doctor to have a good check and rule out other causes of tummy ache.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
