General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history of Enlarged Prostrate. Presently you are having symptoms of nocturia, painful urination, a slowed/delayed urinary stream, etc.

These symptoms can be treated with medications or surgery depending upon the severity of the pathology detected.

You may need alpha-blockers, NSAIDS & antibiotics orally or intravenously.

Your treating doctor may do some investigations like Urinalysis, Prostatic biopsy, PSA test, Urodynamic test, Cystoscopy, intravenous pyelography or urography, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
