Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Groin Area

Hello there. For the past week, I have had this stupid pain in my groin area. It feels like my balls hurt, but when I squeeze them, I don t feel any pain. It mostly hurts on the left side. I didnt detect any unusual bumps on the two testicles, the only thing you can feel is the thing that connects to both testicles. It hurts a little bit when I sit and when I m laying on my bed. It mostly hurts when I walk, bend forward when I m standing or if I use my left leg (lifting or placing it in usual positions when lying down.. basically using my left leg upper muscles). This never happened before. I am 20 years old, and recently had a lower back pain issue (i was by my doctor who sent me to xray, still waiting for it). She said that its probably a mechanical injury of my spine or muscles. However, my lower back pain is getting better everyday now but my testicles started to hurt like a week ago. Can you suggest anything? I really dont want to get my balls touched by my female doc.. you know, she is kinda hot, who knows what the willy decides to do... I would probably be embarrased and never go back there again. I have also been coughing badly on and off for about two months (not a regular smoker, maybe once a month). Please, help me :)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
