General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Whenever the symptoms start to not be well controlled you need to talk with your doctor if there is a need to increase the dose of the antidepressant or add another one.

If you have suspicion of an autoimmune condition then your doctor needs to do a thorough history and physical examination to see if there is a specific autoimmune disease possible and order tests specific to the one that seems likely.

There are many autoimmune disease and they have their specific tests so it is important to take the decision on the tests after a good evaluation with history and physical exam.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
