Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Behind The Neck

I have been dealing with an pain in the back of my neck for the past six days now. I have only dealt with it for this long because it comes and it goes , but when its firing up the pain in the back up my neck shoots upward and stops at the top of my head. When the pain hits the top of my head my eyesight turns blurry and sometimes white . when the pain goes away I get phantom pains. what is going on.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for asking HCM
Neck pain could be a sign of cervical spondilysis. Take OTC pain medications for pain. Get X-ray CS (AP&Lat) to rule out cervical spondilysis.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Try sleeping in a flat surface.
2. Avoid jerky movements as far as possible.
3. If riding bike, avoid it.
4. If X-ray reports comes positive. Take opinion with the physiotherapist.
hope this will help.
Thanks.
