I have occasional numbness on my right side of body. Especially when I sit with legs cross or arm crossed. It feels as if the blood is not circulating it gets to the point I can t bear weight on it the foot and leg is asleep. Even when I get out of bed I don t know if the leg will bear weight I have to wait a little bit before I walk. Also my arm and hand during the night goes completely numb. I was cutting something with a knife my thumb totally went numb it flopped.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should undergo cervical spine and lumbar spine X-ray ap and lateral views for both. Take calcium supplements. Maintain proper posture while sleeping, sitting and standing. Sleep on hard bed. Takes any muscle relaxant and neurotonic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
