Suggest Treatment For Severe Nasal Bleeding

hello, I have never experienced blood flow in my life, a few hours ago I experienced bleeding from my nose. It stopped quickly.30 minutes ago it started again ,I picked my nose but I certainly did not put ANY force, I just do not understand why, one and a half year ago I had my septum straightened through a procedure ,I had a rhinoplasty. I am afraid I caused a hole in my septum ,I am really afraid.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
You most likely injured a blood vessel in your nose.
when this happens pinch your nose tightly and breathe through your mouth while you tilt your head forward. it should stop within ten minutes. if this happens often, you will have to do a blood test to rule out a bleeding disorder and possibly visit and ENT to rule out local problems in the nose.
