Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain

A pressure point pain on the inside of my left knee.. Recent discomfort walking. Feels unstable as I walk. Injury occured after a recent hard run and similar to an old softball injury, I did not address. It does get better with ice, elevating and staying off of it.. I m thinking it s an ACL.. but it s not severe, so I m tempted to use a brace and monitor..

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got medial collateral ligament injury. It can be confirmed by MRI knee .Its treatment is elevation of limb at pillow, icing, analgesics such as ibuprofen whenever you have pain. You can use a brace to better support it. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
