Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Stiff Neck While On Albendazole

Hi I took one tablet 400 mg albendazole last night. I don t know if I had worms but since I live in the tropics was advised to take treatment once every six months. Now I have a severe headache, stiff neck and nauseau. How long can I expect these side effects to last? Can I take ibuprofen for the headache?

Hello.
These are the least serious side effects of albendazole which your are suffering from.
There is no known interaction between Albendazole and Ibuprofen see.. However, an interaction may still exist.
So I do not personally recommend you to take it.
