Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Stiff Neck

I am now 56 I was diagnosed with Cocxsacki b virus approx 8 yrs ago after a trip back east to MA I was admitted to the hospital with severe headache and stiff neck. Had 2spinal taps the also believed I had a severe case of West Nile. Saw many Infectious disease Docs due to the newness of the WN virus I had a viral encephalitis also. Was in hospital approx 3 weeks. Since that time I have breakouts of blisters on hands and butt cheek on and off. Was also looked at for lymphoma this year due to unexplained swollen lymph nodes. ENT PREETY MUCH DISMISSED ME said I was fine also last year had 100 # weight loss malnourished severe diarrhea that would co.e and go. Saw many doctors not one either new. Anything about cocxasaki laughed and DISMISSED this diagnosis even family Doc very frustrated oh ya 3 months ago had mono. Still no diagnosis weight slowed a little. Could any of this have to do with th C B virus. Thanks for your time. YYYY@YYYY

I'm sorry to hear about your concern right now after having suffered from viral encephalitis and the present problem of your with recurrent blisters and weight loss really seems to be bothering you a lot. This scenario is not something common with viral infections but problems like autoimmune disorders (Behcet and like stuff) or fungal infections need to be ruled out. I would advice to visit dermatologist as well a rheumatologist.
