Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Sore Throat

I was on a road trip west from middle America. Two days into the trip (there were 4 of us in the car) my partner said she was GETTING A SORE THROAT. About the next day I got a headache,(rare for me). the next day I had another headache. The third day I , I got an earache, the fourth day I woke up and couldn t see clearly out of my right eye. Stopped in Kremmling Co. and was diagnosed with sepsis. Ambulance to Denver to spend 2 more days on antibiotics(vancomyicin and sulfamethoxazole) Any idea where I could have picked up this bug

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood the history of 2 days trip in a car with 4 people, your partner got a sore throat followed by your getting the headache, ear ache and by 4 th day got blurring of vision in the right eye.
Diagnosed as sepsis, are on antibiotics - Vancomycin and Sulfamethoxazole; wants to know where could you have picked up the bug and wants to know the treatment.

You have obviously got the bug from your partner but uin your case that progressed further to cause a complication os severe upper respiratory tract infection and sinusitis causing affection of the vision.
I would suggest the following in such a situation.
MRI of the sinuses and the ears.
Continue the antibiotics till you get a cure.
Get a second opinion of an Ophthalmologist and an ENT to see that the treatment is on the right tract.
Nasal decongestant drops.
Anti-inflammatory and PPI and other medicines as may be required from time to time.
