Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Ear Pain
Hello, I went to my clinic the other day and they told me I had an inflamed left ear (just slightly) and gave me some ear drops for it however it did nothing. I ve had pain in my left ear (not constant just comes and goes) and headaches on the left side of my head, and pain behind the left eye for quite some time (maybe up to 6 months) though its not every day, and not excruciating but it is quite bad at times. My doctor told me just to take tylenol- as if I hadn t already been doing that. Any advice? I m going to be flying soon so I m scared that the height might make me more ill.
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history. Read and understood your history related to the left ear pain, pain behind the left ear and headache. This is going on for a long time, and indicates that you need a proper clinical evaluation. I would advise you to get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon, undergo endoscopy and most important contrast enhanced CT scan. This may show the disease such a cholesteotoma or mastoiditis. You may then need a surgery to get a cure.
