Suggest Treatment For Severe Facial And Chest Flushing, With Diagnosis Of Spherocytosis

I was diagnosed with spherocytosis when I was 27 and pregnant. In the last 18 months I have suddenly been experiencing Raynaud s symptoms, severe facial and chest flushing, and an unusual white spots (unraised) on my legs and arms with purple(ish) tracings around them. I also get tingling on the skin around my wrists and lower arms, especially when I am cold. Maybe totally unrelated but I also have raised areas in my nose recently, and infrequent (but crazy uncomfortable heartburn). Basically, I just don t feel right . All, or some, of these things may be unrelated but they are just new things that seemed to have developed back-to-back and are increasing in frequency.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Reynaulds is a possibility. In most cases it is a transient response and will settle by itself. You have to avoid precipitating factors like cold and stress. Consult a rheumatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
