Hi there, I've had a cough for about 6-7 weeks now, I'm a healthy 18 (Almost 19) year old girl, went to the gym regularly (before cough), I don't smoke, not usually ill more than twice a year and a I usually make a very fast recovery, but this time the cough hasn't gone, its sometimes dry, but also sometimes phlegmy, it sounds as though my nose is blocked but it isn't, only a bit runny so i just assumed it was a cold on top of a cold. Recently the cough has started to irritate my chest, i.e. as i cough it feels as though all the air in my lungs is being pushed out and i then breath in rapidly and it feels as though there is a bubbly in my chest almost like the vibration of a deflated balloon. I don't usually go to the doctors but I've decided to surrender and book myself an appointment. I won't be going for three days so i was wondering if you (anyone) could give me some insight into it before?
