Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Fever

Good morning Sir, I am in very confuse status that My fater is cough problem. But in all the reports its showing the negative reports and infection found in Lungs. Some time Fever comes 102F and he get unconsicous status. after fever down he is comes in normal condition. Now the doctor says that its may be due to TB and they want to diagnose with Biopsy. My Question is that if all the reports come negative for TB and symtoms are nt matched . then what is the causes for infection in Lungs and how to procure it. Pl. suggest sir.

Hi,
From history it seems that case of your father requires evaluation.
It requires through investigations and after all reports one gets some clue about his illness.
there is likely of having,
COPD,
Chronic brinchitis,
Pulmonary tuberculosis etc.
Go for,
X-ray chest,
Complete blood test including, ESR, Eosinophil count.
If lesion in the lung found then go for biopsy.
Best way is to consult Pulmonologist and get investigated.
