Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Chest Pain

I have been sick for a little while and coughing like crazy .... Recently I have developed pain in my chest when I cough but also other places I ve never experienced. Why do I get pain in my anus area and vagina area when I cough? It hurts worse standing than when sitting.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe cough and chest pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like COPD , bronchitis , acid reflux or angina . If there is shortness of breath , dizziness and fatigue then consult cardiologist without any delay . If there is no such symptoms then consult chest specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray , blood test and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe steroids , anti histamine , antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . For now take steam and do warm saline gargles .
