Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
is it possible that TB scarring could be confused with scarring from say bronchitis etc? I am applying for a visa in UAE and had symptoms of TB 16years ago and was treated for it but my doctor thinks that there may not be scarring from it therefore no reason to declare it and be denied a visa. If it is picked up in a Xray over there, would it be possible to say that it could be from something else?
Drink fluids but avoid caffeine and alcohol. Get plenty of rest. Take over-the-counter pain relievers to reduce inflammation, ease the pain, and lower your fever. Increase the humidity in your home or use a humidifier.
