Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think it is a very relevant question.
I think I can help you understand the problem.
As they say, understanding is half the battle won.

Now, your first symptom was acute cardiac syndrome.
In this situation, there is reduced blood flow to the heart muscles leading to the problem.

Second episode was a seizure problem.
Now, it is not clear from the query, but since its not mentioned, I assume you have not had any further seizures and therefore also off treatment for the same.
Now this could come from a vast range of problems, from venous thrombosis in veins to accelerated hypertension etc. The history given is not sufficient to allow me to diagnose what triggered the seizures.
Since there is a precedent cadiac event, I assume it wasdue to arrhythmia (abnormal beating of the heart) or eclampsia (high blood pressures in pregnancy, esp at delievary).

Starting 2016, you have had three episodes of near syncope. So obviously, it was not a seizure. Considering your prior history, I think the episodes are of cardiac origin.

Having explained that to you, I think it would be better to tell you how to proceed-
I would suggest testing a echocardiography.
If this turns out to be normal, a Holter monitoring is to be planned.
if this also turns out to be normal, a CV Doppler followed by an EEG needs to be planned.
Other causes of syncope like anemia, diabetes also need to be evaluated.

I am unaware about your medications from the query.
I would suggest avoidingthe following group of medicine- betablockers, antidiabetes medicines (if any),etc.
Use of compression stocking while you get tested may help.

If this seems inaccurate, please let me know the following information-
1. Do you have palpitation?
2. Do you have breathlessness?
3. How long does the chest pain last?
4. What are you medication?
5. What triggers the chest pain? If present, what triggers the palpitations and breathlessness?
6. Any swelling of the feet?

In view of chest pain, it would be prudent to meet your cardiologist as soon as possible again.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Please feel free to contact us for any further related information.
Please do visit your cardiologist- chest pain can be serious issue, especially since you already have a 12 year old cardiac event.
Best of luck,
Dr Mittal
