Suggest Treatment For Rosacea

Hi, I have been diagnosed with rosacea 2yrs ago nothing worked. Scalp got so itchy and eyelashes and eyelids. Noticed rosacea linked to dermodix mites and that you need to put an antibacterial cream on ( metronidazole works) and tea tree products for hair, body and face. What would you prescribe me as I m going crazy with the itching, burning and need to boost my immune system up to.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of Rosacea, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply a clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral doxycyline, minocycline and isotretinoin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
