Hi,
There can be various causes for pain in upper abdomen.Definitely one of the common cause is pain related to abdominal organs like liver, pancreas,
gallbladder and rarely kidneys.
If you have already got an ultrasound scan done then I feel that chances of these organs being involved is less.
Besides these, the other causes of pain can be related to gastritis or reflux or
peptic ulcer, associated with
indigestion or spicy and oily food and smoking. We also need to look for diseases of lungs ( infection), or any kind of trauma to chest or
muscle strain.
Sometimes vitamin deficiencies, anemia or even stress and anxiety can cause this pain.
So first of all take care of your diet.Drink plenty of water.Avoid taking excess of tea or coffee.Avoid spicy and oily food.
Maintain proper posture while sleeping and working. If still the symptoms persist then you need to go for further investigations like
complete blood count , chest x ray, vitamin d and further a ct scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
