Suggest Treatment For Right Sided Abdominal Pain

It started with very slight right front pain while I was working. I am a teacher who is always on my feet. I am 58 years old and I thought it was my right ovary but I had my ovaries checked about 1.5 years ago. I got a clean bill of health. I am about 25 pounds overweight but I do not take any medications. Only over the counter for allergies.

well there are many possible causes for right sided abdominal pain....some of the common cause are --

(1) INTESTINAL AMOEBIASIS
(2) APPENDICITIS i.e inflammation of appendix
(3) INTESTINAL TUBERCULOSIS specially of the ileocaecal region
(4) RENAL STONES
(5) PYELONEPHRITIS
(6) INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE specially crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
(7) LYMPHOMA
(8) INFLAMMATION OR MASS IN FALLOPIAN TUBES
(9) LYMPHOMA
(10) INTESTINAL WORMS INFESTATION

if i were your treating doctor i would have adviced you certain investigations and tests to find out the underlying cause of pain

(1) COMPLETE HEMOGRAM
(2) STOOL EXAMINATION
(3) URINE ANALYSIS
(4) ULTRASOUND OF ABDOMAN / KIDNEYS / UTERUS / FALLOPIAN TUBES
(5) ENDOSCOPY

once a precise diagnosis is made you can consult your treating doctor to prescribe you the appropriate treatment
