Suggest Treatment For Repetitive Headache And Blurry Visions

Hi, I would like to consult you for problems I have. I have repetitive headaches that are long term. The headaches come quite often. I also have spine pain and it s consistent. My neck also recently started hurting and I believe it s causing me to have blurry visions. I also am sometimes very nauseous.I am also 39 years old. Could it be I have some kind of illness or disease?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. The most likely cause of your symptoms could be migraine.

In migraine, there could be headache, neck pain, dizziness and nausea.

As these are frequent, you would benefit from taking preventive medications (to reduce the frequency and severity of these episodes).

Medications helpful are flunarizine, beta blockers, topiramate, divalproex, etc.

It would be best to get examined by a neurologist once.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology)
