Suggest Treatment For Red, Swollen And Itchy Hands

My hands are very red, swollen, itchy, sore and scaling. I do have psoriasis but have had it under control with Otezla. This is the only place I am suffering. Any ideas? It started after I used latex gloves. Its mostly on my palms not on the back of my hands. Help

Thanks for contacting HCM with your concern.

1. It could be Latex allergy/sensitivity [allergic contact dermatitis] since limited to palms only.
2. the best prevention is avoidance i.e. switch to synthetic gloves instead of latex
3. Local application of a keratolytic [salicylic benzoic] or betnovate ointment
. Antihistamine [cetrizine] for itching once daily and
. mild tranquilizer [alprax] to counter psychosomatic factor]
4. If symptoms presisits seek an opinion of Dermatologist
