Suggest Treatment For Red Blisters On The Calf And Thigh
Hi, I recently got a rash on the back of my calf and upper thigh. It didn t start out really bad but now it s itching a lot and it s turning dark red in the center. There are blisters forming. There s also a black scab looking mark in the one on my calf. I was walking in the woods the day before, could it be poison oak?

Possibly an allergy reaction. The changes in color is due to skin damage after scratching as it is very itchy. Should:
- keep the area well clean
- observe is you find any insect bite there
- Apply aloe vera anti-itching cream locally; calamine lotion is another option
- take oral antihistaminic at night (you can find over the counter).
If no improvement, you should consult further with your caring doctor.
