Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Nits treatment is topical application of permethrin lotion with closing eyes followed by cleaning and drying. Usually, nits cannot live on eye they create some allergic reaction. Next thing is get checked with a pediatrician to rule off rickettesial infection as nits are carriers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
