Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fungal Infection On Foot

I ve got a type of foot fungus (I m assuming) that I ve had for as long as I can remember. On my right foot, the toe knuckle next to my big toe is crusty, dry, cracked. Every time I peel it off it grows back a few weeks later. How can I get rid of this for good?

Dermatologist 's  Response
hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you may have tinea pedis or eczema which will be clear only after seeing the lesion.
my treatment advise would be:
consult a dermatologist nearby as if it is fungal infection, you may require oral and topical antifungals as prescribed by him.
-- if it is eczema, you may apply topical corticosteroids like betamethasone valerate (0.1%) cream twice a day and apply white soft paraffin twice a day.
-- as of now, you may take tab levocetrizine twice a day for itching.
-- maintain hygiene.
-- wash your feet two times a day.
wishing you healthy skin.
thank you
