Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurrent sinusitis . Well surgery can not prevent future sinusitis , Surgical treatment simply allows the sinuses, which previously did not drain, to drain through the ostia. There should be proper management after surgery to prevent sinusitis again like doing proper irrigation with saline solution along with antibiotics like gentamycin or oral antibiotics along with anti inflammatory will be the solution . Moreover it is very important to boost the immunity of body so that it become lees susceptible to infection , for this you can improve your diet or take vitamin and mineral supplement . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment mention above. For now take steam several times a day .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
