No, you are making terrible mistake. Clobetasole is type of steroid it causes immunosuppression so your shingles is disappeared.

But it will reappear again because the original virus which causes infection is not treated by this medication.

You need to take the acyclovir tablet which is antiviral drug against the herpes infection. You should take this under nearby doctors guidance. Please complete the treatment with this agent otherwise it will recurr.

You can take gabapentin if you are having severe pain. This medication should be taken under specialist doctors guidance.

It is contagious infection so you can prevent infection to other family members by not sharing personal equipment.
