Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Elbow And Shoulder After Injury

My son suffered a mild concussion accompanied by a nose bleed after being hit in the face with a soccer ball. Now, two days later he has developed a blister rash on the inside of his elbow and some on his shoulder. He complains of soreness. Is there any connection?

Yes, there may be some connection of the two in terms of physical injury. The nasal injury with the soccer ball itself has nothing to do with this rash. But this is possible that when he got the injury, there was some kind of physical impact to the arm too at elbow and shoulder areas. Abrasion on the area may also cause such kind of blistering rash.

Apply Procort cream on the affected areas. As this is a blister so we have to apply Triple antibiotic Ointment on it to avoid the infection by bacteria. Ibuprofen if pain. It will also help to reduce the inflammation.
