Suggest Treatment For Rashes And Muscle Aches

My 22 year-old daughter is having progressive muscle aches starting a couple of days ago with sore shoulders, moving down to stomach and back. Today she has a rash, mostly on her trunk. The rash is red, looking like bug bites (raised), some of them are sore, some are not. She is not aware of an actual bug bite.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

If you post photo of lesion than further comment will be easy

Here examination is needed for proper work up

It could be insect bite, viral infection or rickettesia like infective condition

I would suggest you to consult physician for examination

For inflammation you can prescribed antihistaminic drug and topical calamine lotion

Ice application useful to reduce pain and swelling

If any stinger seen than it is to be removed from lesion

Take care
