Suggest Treatment For Raised Patch On Leg

Hello. I got a raised patch on my leg after walking in shallow ocean water I read that it might be allergic reaction to micro organisms in ocean. It went away in a week, but came back a month later at the ocean again and then couple weeks later at the pool. Should I do anything to treat it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. This sounds like tinea corporis or ring worm. You can try topical Lamisil twice a day for a week but if it continues after that you'd need prescription ketoconazole cream for it
