Suggest Treatment For Raised And Tender Bump On The Finger

Hi. Just back from Punta Cana-- not sure if that s related but I noticed a slight red patch on index finger. Itched like a mosquito bite but also felt almost as if there was a splinter or something in it but couldn t see any thing. Now it has raised up about size of very small pea, yellow pus in it, and red ring around it that has changed to dark purple. Very tender to the touch. Could it be a bite of some kind.
